The Deceptive Pre-Tribulation Rapture Teaching

One of the problems with the pre-tribulation rapture teaching is that it inherently sees no purpose for the church to be on earth at the end of the age. But God has tremendous purposes for His church on earth at the very end of the age which involve His glory. And the Bible doesn't keep it secret. Ephesians 3:8-12 says (paraphrasing) that God's eternal purpose in Christ Jesus and the reason He created all things is to demonstrate His wisdom through the church to the powers and authorities (the devil and his fallen angels) in the heavenly places. When we read the books of Daniel and Revelation, we see a tremendous end-time battle between the devil and the saints. The devil loses and the saints win, but the devil doesn't want the church to know the game plan.

The complete fulfillment of that awesome destiny as revealed in Daniel and Revelation takes place during the last three and one-half years of the age when the saints go head-to-head with the antichrist system and overcome it by the Blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and by not loving their lives unto death.

Basically to teach that the church won't be on earth during that time is to miss the crux of the eternal purpose of why God created the church in the first place. The last days of this age will be the time of the greatest testimony of the church on earth throughout all history.

Everything that Jesus has in mind for His glorious church will come to fruition during that period of time. No one but Satan himself could have conceived the plot to see the church so deceived that they do not even perceive it. The Bible says that without vision, the people perish. The church must restore her vision for her role on earth at the end of the age as Jesus defined it. The restoration of all creation awaits the church rising to embrace this destiny. This is much bigger than mere rapture timing.

No wonder Jesus said that many will fall away and the love of most will grow cold. The church doesn't have a clue what's coming. Jesus’ first warning about the end of the age was to beware of deception. It is only in the devil's best interests to keep the church so deceived.
